
Tutero
Tutero is an Australian EdTech company that provides two main products: Tutero Schools (for teachers) and Tutero Tutoring (for families). It is an AI-driven personalised learning, diagnostics, and personalized one-on-one tutoring experiences.
Tutero came to us because they were interested in a modern, conversion-driven website that clearly distinguished their school and family services. They were aimed at showcasing special characteristics, establishing credibility through testimonials, and making the process of signing up easy for the parents and educators.
Business Challenges
Although Tutero maintained efficient tools and the user base was rapidly growing, the company faced a problem with its site in communicating value, leading users, and transforming interest into action. The major challenges are as mentioned below.
- Mixed Messaging: Tutero tried to serve schools and families on the same platform, which confused their individual needs. Teachers needed lesson tools, and parents needed tutors. The unclear structure caused confusion and drop-offs.
- Hidden Value: There were also powerful features, like AI lesson planning and diagnostic testing, which were hidden on the site. Tutero had the strongest differentiators that could have been passed on without the visitor noticing them.
- Weak Trust Signals: Although they had glowing testimonials from teachers and parents, they were odd and repetitive. The lack of any central place to post reviews and case studies diluted to the extent of undermining the initial trust-building possibilities of Tutero.
- Clunky Conversions: There were long and multi-click sign-up flows with unresponsive forms that parents and teachers were forced to fill out. This was an irritant, particularly on mobile, which led to potential leads being dropped even when they were interested in Tutero.
- Old-Fashioned Interface: The visual design was not very energetic, personal, or interactive. It was generic to contemporary EdTech platforms, and it did not resemble the idea of Tutero offering personalised, engaging, and future-proofed learning experiences.
Solutions
To solve these pain points, we revamped the digital presence of Tutero with a digital presence that is more clarity-focused, conversion-focused, and credibility-focused. Our solutions made the platform consistent with its mission of personalised learning.
- Easy-to-Follow Steps: We developed school and family-specific journeys with customized pages, navigation, and CTA. This minimized confusion, enhanced customer satisfaction, and saw to it that every audience member was able to find the right information as fast as possible.
- Feature Spotlight: Tutero was advanced with interactive graphics and large sections. Now the visitors can immediately notice AI-driven lesson planning, diagnostic testing, and matching tutors, which is where the largest of the brand values are emphasized.
- Social Proof Hub: We organized the reviews, case studies, and testimonials into organized centres. Having a clean design and high visibility, Tutero became more credible, and the educators and parents trusted it at first.
- Simplified Conversions: We have refined the registration flows with mobile-friendly and fast forms, as well as on-point CTAs, including ‘Sign Up Free’ and ‘Request a Quote’. This significantly increased the completion rates and decreased the abandonment of the sign-up.
- Fresh Redesign: The outdated appearance was replaced with an energetic student-oriented design. Amusing graphics, typography and interactive UIs were part of the factors that made Tutero appear and feel as part of its promise of personalized learning.
