Pure Melt Chocolates offers the finest raw cacao butter. The client wanted a robust e-commerce platform that accommodates custom features and provides a smooth user experience. The online store should offer the chocolate at your doorstep. We were a part of creating a responsive website from the Ui design.
Business Challenges
Pure Melt Chocolate is a growing online store for chocolate. They wanted to grow their customer base with the flexibility of ordering in bundle packs and individual chocolate packets. The client wanted to set the website's technical requirements based on the proposed design. Our role is to make a smooth user experience and adapt their offerings to scale the brand.
- Fully Customise Theme: The biggest challenge was to customize and develop the website with a customized theme based on the proposed UI. The primary goal was to maintain the design aesthetics while optimizing the cost incurred through paid apps in the Shopify admin.
- Bundle Product Feature: The client wanted a complex mix-and-match combination of bundle chocolate products with various flavors and quantities. The feature is not ideally optimized on the shopify platform and must be developed carefully.
- Design Development: With a complex and fixed theme setting, the design vision required multiple third-party apps, which led to budget strain. The performance needs to be optimized and updated with minimal dependence on tools.
- Modular Sections: According to the design, the site needed highly dynamic sections and a layout that allowed the Pure Melt team to make changes easily in the future. This was again a complex challenge for us, coding the whole website with clean and stable integration.
- Subscription Model Integration: A unique subscription model feature was to be integrated for regular customers. The client wanted to set up a repeat purchase option for their favourite chocolates.

- Custom Theme: We developed a custom-built Shopify website, maintaining the premium design with all the customized features for the online store. The custom theme was very effective in terms of cost, with a strong brand identity and an excellent user experience.
- Modular Design: The website was built to be modular and editable through a content management system (CMS). We had an app-free solution for every design element, which reduced monthly paid app costs and matched the design intent. The team can easily access the admin panel to make section changes in the future without any technical knowledge.
- Mix and Match Bundle: Our customized feature allows users to mix and match flavors and quantities effortlessly, making ordering easy. The interactive UI enhanced engagement and increased the average order value, offering customers a wide range of ordering options.
- Comparison Table: A dynamic chocolate table was added, easy to update and expand, as per the client’s requirements. The table supported rows and columns for Pure Melt chocolate and other ordinary chocolate ranges.
- Multimedia Integration: We embedded a high-quality images and videos section to make the content interactive for customers. We also included the recipe process, along with pictures or videos, to try with Pure Melt Chocolate. This offered an immersive chocolate shopping experience.
- Checkout Integration: We integrated trusted payment gateways, including Shop Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, and credit/debit cards, with SSL encryption and PCI compliance. The checkout process reduced steps and ensured a quick purchase experience.
